【白額雁】英文:White-fronted Goose 學名:Anser albifrons frontalis 雁形目 鴨科 體長：72公分
繁殖於西伯利亞，北極海岸到白令海峽、北美洲極北部、歐洲西部及格陵蘭西部。在臺灣地區為稀有的冬候鳥，廣布於中國大陸各地方。 生活習性與其他雁類一樣，每年入秋後成群遷成，多在夜間飛行，抵越冬地區後分散為小群活動。主要以各種水草為食、有時亦吃穀類、種籽、菱白根莖及各種作物的幼葉、嫩芽等。
在宜蘭鳥友熱心幫忙下，順利找到這來台渡冬的嬌客。站在田梗上吃草莖，身上保護色不錯，不注意看，容易錯過牠。拍沒幾張，看隔壁田有一農夫朝牠走去，機不可失，在牠準備起飛，幸運記錄下這幾張。飛了一圈，落在後面田裡。開車去找，沒想到離路邊不遠。可清楚看到額頭一塊白色部份，因此稱為”白額”雁。
早上真幸運，不到一小時就拍到心中算滿意的畫面。

I think it would be really nice to have all of your pictures accessible as a set of albums, defined by species, place.... 灣灣，祝這星期好收獲 (應該會上來吧? 呵呵) Edouard: Thanks for your encouragement & suggestion. It would be great to define the birds by species (more clear for bird photo looking). Maybe I will try in future. I have seen similar albums before. I share the photos by diary type currently, it's easier for lazy people like me.
